Just sell worldwide, that will generate sales! All the the best motorola phones are US exclusive, how do you expect to make money that way?

not true, there's unlocked versions of the Razr M and the Razr HD models available to international customers.

Really exclusive to Verizon in the US. Tmobile and Sprint haven't seen a Moto phone in general in a long time.

Sprint has the Photon Q which is a decent phone for sure.
you're right that T-Mobile could use something though.

If they really want to make sales, they would focus on providing better service to customers who get their phones rather than leave them in the dark.
Good customer service goes a long way.

Like Apple cheating in EU somewhere in name of support and getting fined for doing it repeatedly ... that's extortion and not customer support :)

ah i see you still haven't given up on your sad troll tirades Mxy. ;P
one thing you said is true though, good customer service DOES go a long way. something i've learned from Motorola in fact. they make good, reliable handsets. you don't hear a third of the amount of issues coming from Motorola handsets than you do from either Samsung's or Apple's.

Back off Troll! My RAZR is getting JellyBean and whips my iToy iPhone 4s, Moto released updates for the Droid 1 past the two year mark, that's all one can ask for. If a device didn't get an upgrade (Droid 3 comes to mind) That means they felt it couldn't handle it. And I'm no blind fan like you are Moto F#@*ED up on the Droid X 2 and the Bionic (a little bit) Honestly if I bought the bionic I probably wouldn't be a Moto fan right now. But I got the RAZR, and it has been awesome since day 1.
GO SUCK AN APPLE!

it's a shame about the Droid 3, one of my favorite handsets to date.
the reason it never got ICS is because Motorola would've had to rework the kernel so that ICS can work with 512MB of RAM instead of the 1GB it's mapped for. it was just too much for a device that sold like the Droid 3 which is unfortunate but understandable, it's a fair enough reason. luckily the developer community still hasn't given up on the Droid 3 and we have CM9 and CM10 builds out for it.
i actually just helped a girl find one with 2 batteries and a desk cradle for $100 so she bought it and she loves it. she's a smart girl and she said she'll flash CM9 or CM10 on it if she ever gets tired of GB.i'd be the first to say that the X2 was trash. it was probably just something Motorola could get out on the market quick to make up for time and resources lost on the Etna Bionic. those qHD displays and Tegra II's they likely had in abundance for the Etna had to be used for something right?
the Bionic wasn't even a bad phone, it was better than most of the other carrier's flagships for a little while even after the Razr was annouced but they should've just abandoned it. on the bright side though it did have a removable battery which was important to some. Verizon didn't help things by delaying the ICS update for it though.
i tell you what though to this day i'm impressed with my MAXX HD. the battery life is ridic. i can trade this anytime for something more powerful like the DNA or the Note II but the battery life and the build quality is just too damn good to let go of and having 64GB of storage sure isn't bad either. it'll be hard for me to get anything with a smaller battery now.
