2013 Pan Ag Day seminars include estate planning ? KGYN Radio ...

It is that time of year again! Panhandle Ag Appreciation Day is quickly approaching, bringing with it: educational sessions, wind/water updates, awards, food and fun. The annual event will be held Thursday, Jan. 24,? from 9 AM to 7:30 PM at the Texas County Activity Center.

Estate Planning, presented by J. Michael Entz, is one of the helpful, informative sessions the public can attend for free.

?Mr. Entz is also scheduling free one on one consultations with anyone who is interested in discussing their personal estate plan with him further,? said Vice President/Branch Manager for Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma Jamey Mitchell.? ?The private consultations are also free of charge, and will be held at the Farm Credit office in Guymon on January 31st and February 1st and will be by appointment only.?

Entz, an Attorney and Counselor at Law, will conduct a session on Estate Planning from 9:30-10:30 AM during the agriculturally based celebration.

Born and raised on a small farm and ranch near Hydro, OK, Entz maintains an office for his private law practice in Oklahoma City and Weatherford. He has been practicing law in the Tax and Trust area for more than 20 years. During those 20 years, he worked as a legal intern at the Oklahoma Tax Commission, for the Oklahoma State University Foundation and has maintained a private law practice. Entz is admitted to practice law in Oklahoma and in the U.S. District Court for the Western and Northern Districts in Oklahoma. He is currently an Adjunct Instructor on Estate Planning, Trusts and Wills, at the Oklahoma University College of Law ? Paralegal Program. He is also a registered instructor with the State Boards of Accountancy through NASBA and has authored many continuing education seminars for accountants and CPAs. He is approved by the Oklahoma Insurance Commission to conduct continuing education for Oklahoma insurance agents. He has presented many estate and financial planning seminars to interested persons across Oklahoma.

Entz?s business is concentrated in financial and estate planning (wills, trusts and probate matters) and family owned businesses, which are spread throughout the Panhandle region.

Ag Appreciation Days will hold other informative seminars including Technology Available (Rapid Changes), Importance of Plant Variety and Ag Marketing.
